Susan Pace
Hi, my name is Susan Pace and since 2019 I have been the Managing Director of Tallwoods Country Club.
During my working career I have mostly been in the sales environment before moving into management 8 years ago.
Our business purchasing Tallwoods was an exciting new challenge and personally I have learnt so much of the world of Golf and Course Maintenance.
One of the best parts of my job is to spend time with our members and visitors, hearing of their game and watching them enjoy our course, accommodation and facilities. When our guests leave there is nothing better than hearing the words "We had a great time and we will definitely be back".
Our journey so far has been very rewarding with our team sharing the same vision and passion to achieve the goal of Tallwoods being a destination golfers want to visit.
Steve Pace
My name is Steven Pace, I am the Project Manager of Tallwoods Country Club.
After my many years of being an Operations Manager in my own Family business it was a challenge I couldn’t pass taking on the role at Tallwoods.
Since I started, I have been deeply involved in the refurbishment of the course and working alongside the groundsman to restore such an amazing course.
Adding to this I also managed the many building projects on the property and many other jobs which make every day unique.
The comradery by our Staff and Volunteers amazes me and I am very thankful for everyone’s efforts in assisting us on the journey.
Jeff Mendham
Hi, My name is Jeff Mendham I was born in Orange in 1973 where I started playing golf at the age of 14 played junior golf at Wentworth Golf Club representing the Club and CWDGA at both regional and State levels.
I began my Golf Apprenticeship at Duntry League Golf Club in 1994 finished 1996 where I stayed working for another 5 years as the Assistant Golf Professional. Played the State Pro Am circuit and did some caddying in Japan before moving to Forster Tuncurry.
In 2002 I began working at Tallwoods Country Club as the course marshal and then moved my way up into my current role as Head Professional.
